The inspiration and the inspired
I’m combining two photo challenges today 🙂 – The Weekly Photo Challenge (One shot, Two ways) and Ailsa’s Weekly Travel Theme (Architecture).
So, here are two takes of lattice tower architecture…
The iconic Eiffel Tower, of course, is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The Tokyo Tower is a communications and observations tower, inspired by it. It’s so much better at night, when you can’t see the ghastly orange and white color (painted so, to comply with air safety regulations).
The views from each…
Two takes on the Tokyo Tower…
A different perspective of The Eiffel Tower…
Check out other great entries here, and here.
An amazing gallery! the last two really nail the challenge 🙂

Excellent photographs of Eiffel Tower at night. Brilliant. A building where you can see all the working parts.
