(Wk 26) Joy is…
… Feeling loved!
While picnicking in the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, we witnessed this grand declaration in the sky (which Hubby attempted to claim credit for (!), up until the skywriter started spelling out the name of his client’s sweetheart).
I, myself, am happy with more humble expression.
Though love, doesn’t really require words.

P.S. Over in Chennai, Madhu has found some joy in gold. Take a peek – it’s not what you think!
Those are very beautiful photos! What would be your favourite part about Sydney?

Astounding photos Kan. Agreed one doesn’t need to write letters in the sky but points for effort. 🙂

Thanks Indah! That one seems to be a top favourite (it’s mine too… besides my own message in the sand… but that’s just me being biased 😉 )

Lovely photos Kan. All shot with a touch of light and love 😉 Very nice BW photography. And lucky capture of the message in the sky. They do that quite a lot in Australia, I’ve seen a few of them in the sky in Melbourne city. But the words always fade out fast 😀

Thanks Mabel! I’m lucky to have captured it… You are right, they fade out very fast. The “I” was gone by the time I got clicking. I didn’t know that it happens a lot on Australia – how fun! It was the first time I’d seen it in person. Was pretty cool… who doesn’t like a grand gesture every once in a while 😉

I wonder how much those messages in a sky cost. Pretty sure not cheap! Certainly a grand gesture – and it will get a lot of people’s attention 😀

Really sweet post and loved the opening paragraph. I think this is something I would do and then stumble over myself explaining when anothers name appeared 🙂

also, I was hear yesterday and there was no sidebar – no archives – just squares for the posts and then ten pages to with numbers at the bottom – no sidebar – nada – I thought you went “real” minimalist …

Ah I see… that’s the look of my homepage. Just the menu on the top and a bottom bar. The sidebar, etc. only appear when you click on any post. I guess you mostly land here through your reader (which takes you directly to the post page) Or through your mobile (on handheld instruments the layout looks different.)?

got it – I just realized that right now – and clicked on the joy is – duh! and thanks – ha!

well it just happened again – no sidebar – but I figure fit out – for some reason if I come to your site front he notification reader in the right hand menu – that link seems to bring me a screen that has only pics and numbers at the bottom. that is weird.
